I've been using Outlook 2003 since it was released, without problems...until
now. Something has gone wrong and the Navigation Pane has gone totally empty.
No folder tree, no navigation or view buttons, no controls of any kind. I do
get a glimpse of the stuff that is supposed to be there, for just a few
seconds when Outlook 2003 starts, but it vanishes instantly. I'd be greatful
if somebody could tell me how to get the folders back.

Try starting Outlook one time with the /cleanviews switch. Caution - it
will reset al of your views to the default. Start->run->outlook.exe
/cleanviews.

No joy, sadly. Problem repros with or without the cleanviews flag. What else
can I try to resolve the problem? I've searched the KB several times, but so
far I'm drawing dead.
