Navigation Pane and Reading Pane adjustments in Outlook 2003 Beta

I am using Outlook 2003 beta and I would like to use the Navigation
and reading Panes the same way they were in 2002. Previously in 2002 I
was able to just click on the name of the mailbox I was in and the
Navigation Pane would automatically pop up so I could choose another
Mailbox. Now I have to hit Alt-F1 or leave it up all the time.
Clicking the name of the mailbox no longer does anything. This is a
major PAIN. excuse the pun..

Also, I don't like the "Last Week", "Yesterday" "Date: Monday
date indicators headers in the message list pane. Can I remove them? I
can figure out on my own when the messages came. The headers just take
up room...

Thanks in advance!!

1) No. the pane is stationary now.
2) Customize the views and remove grouping. A simple click on the header
names and uncheck show in groups does it per folder - edit the views to
change it globally.

Hello,

Your web page is informative.. Thanks for the link..

I too had a problem with grouping. I figured out how to uncheck
grouping per mailbox but how do I "edit the views"? I couldn't find
anything in the MS help tool.

Thanks!
