I work in an environment with people who are very scared of computer
technology, have low literacy and many lack self confidence. I am
putting together a Powerpoint presentation that will be used by these
employees to learn new skills.
I would like to limit their keyboard interaction to the function keys
F1 to F12.
I want to do away with the mouse.
eg. The program will open up and Slide 1 will show a menu telling the
employees that, for example, F2 will start the presentation, F3 will
take the person to Slide 10 etc etc. I believe that I need to write
some Macros that read the F keys and then act on them
I have fairly good working knowledge of Powerpoint but linking F keys
to VB Macros (or however you do this), is beyond me.
This project will assist the employees to learn new skills and as a
spin off will develop their confidence in themselves. So there is
something in it for the business and also for (dare I say it?),
Society
Any help will be most welcome
