Naughty network card...

I have a 3com network card that worked before I installed SP2
Now the card will show up in ipconfig /all but is not showing in hardware
profile.
Also is not showing in all connections.

I have removed card and restarted pc, shut down and reinstalled.
When pc is restarted the new hardware found notification pops up then gos
away.

Have installed latest drivers.

Is there anything else I can do?
 
Boot into Safe Mode and remove all instances of the card, reboot and let
Windows redetect.
