I am saving my ppt slides as htm pages so I can inlcude them in an
online training software application. I want to use the narration
function in PPT as it allows a syncronizing of animation and voiceover,
but the narration function will not transfer over when I save as web
page! Anyone know of a way to preserve the functionality of narration
when converting to htm.????

What type of sounds are you talking about? There is a voice over sound web
tutorial here.

Sounds won't play across multiple slides on the web

I'm a bit surprised; I thought PPT would preserve recorded narrations in its
own HTML, at least in 2000 and later. What version of PPT do you use and what
options do you pick when you save as web page?

Thanks Mike, I am trying your site for more info, but am afraid that
the narration function still won't work.. I can insert a sound file
onto a page and that will go, but it does not work to help syncronize
with animation, my main goal. Is it possible to use the narration
function, but only on a per slide basis, stopping and starting it again

The voice overs are on a slide by slide basis in the tutorial on my site that
your visiting. If you attach the sound to the event, then it should synchronize
within reason. BTW, which version of PowerPoint are you using?
