Narration and Annimation

When I narrate my slide presentation, the narration will not play until all of the text on the slide has come onto the screen. When I did the narration, I narrated one bullet point at a time. Is there anyway to get it to play back that way? I tried moving the media (sound) in custom annimation and it does not move. Any help you can provide would be most appreciated.
 
It depends on which order your narration is within the sequence of custom
animations.
