I sent this before, but I was so busy moving, I forgot the answer.

There are many programs/application files with names that are either
abbreviated/encrypted or have nothing to do with the program/application.
How can I tell what they are? Is there an application I can use?

Thank you,

Barry Karas

right click on the file and check its properties, version tab. You can
often find out other names of application, and manufacturing company
