I know this seems fundamental but I can't do it!

My calender shows the number of the day 11, the Month July, but NOT the day Monday.

How do I switch on the day name - Monday, Tuesday Wednesday etc?

Thanks

Go to Control Panel-> Regional and Language options and change your long
date to show the names of the days

Sounds good Robert but sadly the long date options are just ddMMMMyyyy or dMMMMyyyy. Can't see how to insert day name. Maybe I'm just being thick.

Simple when you know how, trouble is us mere mortals haven't got a clue.

I found this very helpful, I had been trying to resolve this for some time. I
don't know if it is coincidence or not, but when I implement this the date
now appears twice at the top of each day, and prints twice on printed
calendar pages. Any ideas?

many thanks
