I am using Outlook & Word 2003:
When using "insert address" in Word 2003 my contacts come up sorted by
their
first name. How do I make them sort by last name. In the "file as" field
in
the contacts the contact appears last name first but this does not help
the
problem. I imported my contacts from a pst file in Word XP. I did not
have
this problem in the XP version.
I don't find the path "mail settings->view or change
directories->change for how to sort the address book"
you are explaining under "Tools, Options" in Outlook 2003.

After furious head scratching, Inta asked:
| I want to have the names in the name field (preferabley not display
| name) of the Outlook address book displayed (and sorted) in last name
| order, as I have in my Contacts folder. How can I achieve this?
| Where does the first name/last name order in the name field of the
| address book come from? I'm using Outlook 2003. Thank you.
