name resolution

My Server is not taking into account the files hosts and
lmhosts, no matter what entry I add to them.

Any ideas pls ?

Hello
Check the Advanced TCP/IP settings and make sure that check box "Enable
LMHOSTS lookup" is checked.
Aso make sure that lmhosts and hosts file are named "lmhosts" and "hosts"
and no extension like ".sam" is appended to them.
