Using outlook 2002 I have a problem where emails get sent
multiple times, somtimes up to 10 times over. This problem
happens most frequently with emails with large attachments
500kb upwards, but happens also on occasions with no
attachments. Occasionally this coincides with a message
that the server has timed out, but not all the time. I am
on DSL from Bellsouth.
I have tried everything and called every helpline
available. Bellsouth is the server - my email account is
also webmail and when I test the email from Internet
Explorer, mail with attachents go through one time only -
no problems. Therefore I conclude it must either be an
Outlook problem or a problem between Outlook and the
server.
If anyone can help or has any idea, you have no idea how
grateful I would be. Time taken trying to solve this so
far is measured in weeks rather than days...
