Windows 2000 sp4

There is a file on my harddrive that I can see in the windows explorer,
however I am not able to perform any file operations on that file. Such as
copy, delete, open, move etc.

This is not a permissions issue, it seems to be a corrupt file or something.
Does anyone have any idea:
a. how this happened

b. how to remove the file.

I have also tried to delete it via the command line, but with no luck.

Any help appreciated.

And the name of this mystery file is...???

(would help if we knew ;-)

I don't believe the name of the file matters but it is

Resources

no extension.
This does match the subject matter of the files on this computer, however
the fact is that it can not be accessed, modified or deleted through Windows
Explorer.
