Mysterious Spinner Controls

So I made a subform, and the controls that I would normally assume would be
textboxes have spinner buttons in them. I want them to be regular textboxes.

I can't find any info in the built in help about spinner controls. Anybody
got any info on how to convert a spinner control to a regular text box?

Hey, that's a neat trick. Wouldn't it just be easier to create some new
regular text boxes?

Ummm, it's not a trick! I selected the Subform tool from the ribbon, made the
subform which triggered the wizard. Then once done, all the text boxes have
spinners. I could redo them all manually, but I wonder why the wizard would
make stuff that isn't what I want, and I have to manually redo the whole
thing.

I'd much rather set some property of the controls to "not spinner" but as
far as Help tells me, Access doesn't even have spinners.

Are you sure that they are spinner controls? The scroll arrows in a textbox
look similar to the arrows of a spinner control; is it that the textboxes
have the Scroll Bars property set to vertical?

HTH,

Rob

Ahh, that did it. Yep, they were tiny scroll buttons, not spinners. Thanks
for the tip.
