Mysterious addresses in the envelope

Outlook seems to have stored addresses that I no longer use or that I do not
have in my Contacts list. Where are these stored? How can I get rid of them,
or edit them?

You mean when you type addresses in the To line? These are cached addresses
and are stored in the nk2-file. You can either rename this file to .old to
clear the cache or delete individual ones by highlighting them with you're
arrow keys when the list comes up and press DELETE.

Yes. That is exactly what is happening. How do I access the nk2-file? When I
perform a search I do not see it.

It's in the folder %AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook. Just enter that string in
Windows Explorer's address bar and you should see it.

Once it is underlined you can rightclick it to see your options.

I can't find a way to cut/paste them into a Contacts entry (without a
commercial third-party tool).
