Loaded MySQL 4.0
Loaded MyODBC 2.5

Setup completed. DB access ok, WinMySQlAdmin 1.4 ok,
rebooted the PC. The service MySQL which connects
WinMySQLadmin to the ODBC driver (2.5) will not start.
Can not manually start the service. Get the error 1067:
The process terminated unexpectedly.

Reloaded drivers, uninstalled/reinstalled, WinMSQLadmin
can see the correct drivers in the system32 directory.

Can not start the MySQL service. What am I missing here?

Thanks,

MySQL is not part of Windows XP, and is better supported on other
newsgroups or mailing lists ... however, as I'm interested in MySQL I
took a peek at the documentation for you and found
http://www.mysql.com/doc/en/Windows_upgrading.html which suggests a
cause of this problem. You may also wish to search google for "mysql
1067" to get other hints.
