Several pages on myspace dont work on my computer. This includes the sign-up
page and lots of band pages. When I click on them it just loads a blank page.

Sten,

Start by making sure that you have myspace.com in your Trusted Zone in IE (you
are using IE?), and that you have enabled popups and scripts, for the Trusted
Zone.

If that's not the problem, check your MTU.

Well, you haven't exactly provided us a lot of detailed analysis to start with.

Have you observed this problem on other computers, or just this one? Other
networks, or just this one? Have you always observed this problem?

Get some ides what you may have to do. We can't read your mind from here.

Heh, Heh,

My daughter asked me why she can't load myspace.com and I said I don't
know????

I'm glad she doesn't know what a hosts file is.

Buck

that sounded like a hint, that doesnt help me.

Hello,

Sorry. I wasn't attempting to be snide....only funny.
If one doesn't want a particular web site to be viewed, an entry in
the hosts file will take care of it.

For example:

127.0.0.1 www. myspace.com (Every time my daughter goes to
myspace.com, she is re-directed back to herself....so to speak)

Again, only meant to be funny.....not critical.

Buck

The hosts file is located in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC

that wasnt the problem, but it did help explain a problem i had a few months
ago, thanks.
