mydoom virus

have we ? no :> but most anti virus companies have (symantec ,mcafee ,etc.)
update your virus scanner today and you should be ok
 
have you developed a patch for this virus yet.

It is not really a case of patching the OS to fix this, if you open an
infected file from an e-mail attachment.

You should ensure you have your anti virus products most up to date
signature file.
You should also follow the advice of many sites about not falling for
e-mailed viruses

Also there are tools available from most antivirus vendor to remove this.

Sure, the patch for this one is to remove the main component located between
the keyboard/mouse and the chair.
