My XP Outlook will not download file extension "ATT". Fix?

When I try to download email files, I cannot download files with extension
"ATT". How can I adjust XP Outlook to enable the download?
 
What happens when you try? Typically, they are just plain text attachments,
usually just copies of the message body created by certain mail servers.
 
Thanks, Diane. When I try to download the attachment, nothing happens - no
error message just a blank page. Other attachments within the same email can
be downloaded. Only the ATT extension attachments cannot.

The server may have them blocked, but I wouldn't worry about it since they
are just a copy of the message body.
