Hi,

I get this message about once a day, please help. What do
I need to do to stop this message from appearing? And why
did my computer suddenly start giving those messages? I
can still play my games and surf the internet though,
weird:

"Your system is low of memory. Windows is increasing the
size of your virtual memory paging file. During this
process memory request for some applications may be
denied."

I did a complet clean boot. Then I decided to enable my
norton firewall, Antivirus and system doctor, msn
messenger and mail, icq, AIM, nothing else is in the task
bar. I start doing what I normally do on my pc. I play
games online and surf the internet. But I still get that
low of memry message? Can someone please give me a fix?
Do I need to go increase my memory? Why did my memory
decrease?

See MVP Alex Nichol's article on Virtual Memory in Windows XP,
especially the section dealing with problems. It is at

Good luck

You made no mention of the amount of installed memory. In any case,
there could be a memory leak due to some buggy program. It isn't uncommon.
Every now and then go to the Task Manager by pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del,
select the Processes tab. Keep an eye on the memory usage of everything
listed.

Tony.
