i need help if possible. i have been downloading music and my sound was
working fine and the other evening it wasnt working. i went through
everything trying to find the problem but no luck. my speakers r fine and
devices r working properly. you can hear music if u turn it up loud but its
really scratchy and distorted.plz hlp

Rt click MyComputer>select Properties>Hardware>Device Manager>Sound, Video
and Game Controllers>Expand and see if you find any yellow marks next to
audio devices. If yes you have to reinstalled the driver.
You also might have picked up a Virus, Trojan, spyware and Adware. Use
these sites to check.

Downloading music that you've no copy of already is illegal unless it's in
the public domain... Disregard this if you downloaded from a legitimate
source besides a P2P client.

There, now that I've said that... Do you have digital playback enabled on
your media player? If so try to disable it. Does it make a difference? What
did you use to download? Is it malware? What is the bitrate? Or is that bit
rate as in two words? Low quality means smaller files but also lower quality
of course ;) Are all the files you downloaded like this or just some?
