I have been having this problem for a while now with outlook 2003.

I have a couple of email accounts and I have a signature that I have set for
new mails and reply mails on both my accounts.

When creating a new message the signiture is displayed perfectly however
when I click reply on an existing message my signiture isn't there.

Please help :S

what version of outlook, what editor do you use, and do you have a reply sig
configured for the accounts?

Hi there,

Outlook 2003, using built in editor.

Signiture is definatly set for all accounts on both new mails and replys.

More info since the first message, I have switched to using word as my
editor which has solved the problem.

Do you have any idea of why the built in editor doesn't work?

Did you switch the sending account after you created the Reply? Only
WordMail will switch the signature in that scenario.

Thanks for your continued help,

I simply click on any message and click reply. I do not change the account
that I will be using however the mail servers are setup so they always send
through the same server and give the same email and reply address so people
reply to the correct address in future.

Using word has solved my problem however as I give IT support to several
offices I would dearly love to understand the exact cause so i can avoid it
in future especially in places where they do not have a compatible word
version (I want to roll out outlook 2003 in an office where they still use
word 2000 as part of a Small Business Server installation)

That feature only works with Word as the editor. When you use Outlook as the
editor, you need to change the sig yourself.
