In Outlook 2003, Reminders have stopped working and no longer appear. I've
tried creating newer ones, but all seem to be lost. How do I remedy this?

Have you checked "Tools", then "Options" to make sure the default reminder
box is still checked?

It wasn't checked, so thank for you that. However, it didn't solve the issue.
The reminder originates from a Flag message initiated in Contacts. So the
question is whether it matters which contact list is used, ie "contacts in
Personal Folders" or just "contacts". It used to work and that the
frustrating part of this. No doubt something was simply "turned off" and we
can't find out what it is. your help is greatly appreciated.

it matters. Only your default folders fire reminders without additional
software. Reminders have never fired from any but the default folders.
