My Recent Documents Missing

'My Recent Documents' folder somehow got removed from the
Start/Properties/Start Menu/Customize/Advanced options list so I can't click
a box to get it back. I would like to get it back. Changing the registry
value of Start_ShowRecentDocs to (2) didn't help.

What to do?

I notice it still isn't listed in the start/.../customize list. Maybe when
I reboot.

Now open Tweak UI and highlight on Explorer.Put a Check mark
against "Allow Recent Documents on Start menu'. Uncheck against the
box:-"Clear document history on exit" and finally put a Check against:-
