My Pictures as Screen Saver

How can I get my pictures to be my screen saver when it does not appear in
the drop down list when I go into Display in the Control Panel?

Try right-clicking on the empty Desktop >Properties >Screensaver > does the
"Screensaver" drop down menu work there?

Thanks Mick. That still does not work. I used t have it but in Dec 2008 I
had to have my hard drive reformatted and now I have XP Pro, which I have on
my work laptop. I have my pictures on my work laptop as my screen saver, but
I don't understand why I can't do it on my personal laptop. Could it be
because of XP Pro?

I assume you mean the My pictures slideshow screensaver & not the one from
XP Plus disc, if it's not listed in the drop down menu then look to see if
it's listed in the system 32 folder, it's named ssmypics, if it's not there
& you have access to another XP machine just copy the file over to your
computer. Btw I have XP home.
