You could try to compress the size of the pst file or files, from the file
menu, Data File Management. You could also archive mail check the location,
create a couple pst file and split things. Another thing that springs to
mind, when people say they need to keep all emails they forget its not the
actual emails that take the space its the files attached to the emails that
take the space. If you saved the attachments to a network drive or hard
drive, you could then probably delete the files from the emails, reducing
the size of the pst probably by half the size. You would still have the
body of the emails.
Also check that the Journal isn't on and tracking every time you create,
edit a word, excel, powerpoint etc. etc. document. And make sure the
deleted items is deleted reguarly, quite a lot of people send things to be
deleted but never actually delete the deleted items folder so the space is
still in use anyway.
