My Outlook 2003 Will Not Display "Signature" on Insert Menu

For reasons that escape me entirely, my installation of Outlook 2003 on this
one computer (on a network of 5) does not display "Signature" as an option
on the Insert menu. Instead, it displays Insert Symbol (with S underlined.)
If there's a way to change that menu structure through Customize, I don't
find that either. It will apparently allow me to rearrange the sequence
that options appear on the Insert menu, but will not allow me to delete or
add any options.

How can I get the Insert menu to display Signature as an option instead of
Symbol?

I shall greatly appreciate your help with this.

You apparently are using Word as your email editor, a feature known as WordMail. WordMail does not include an Insert | Signature command like the regular Outlook editor. If you want to be able to insert a signature into a WordMail message manually, you can create an AutoText entry for each signature. You can then insert them with the Insert | AutoText command.

Or, create multiple signatures the normal way (Tools | Options | Mail Format) and make one the default. If you want to use a different signature for the current message, right-click the signature that Outlook inserted automatically. From the pop-up menu, select either the name of the signature you want to use or E-mail Signature to create a new one. I personally prefer this technique. This is also the technique you need to use if you want Outlook 2003 to automatically change your signature when you switch accounts on an unsent message.

A million thanks, Sue!

I didn't realize I'd set Word up at the e-mail editor; didn't mean to. Have
solved that problem with your kind help.

Again, thanks! Have a great day!
