my newreader download code instead of files or attachments

When I try to download from the newgroups, MS Office will download code. I
will not get a complete file as in an MP3 or notepad message. I have used
Agent Newreader and my files download complete. What am I doing wrong?

Guess you'll have to visit yenc.org to find out about the yenc proxy to get
at those porn posts.
