My Network Places & SP2

I recently had SP2 installed for Windows XP. Now I can not get My Network
Places to work when I try to add an entry for a SharePoint Team Services
site. Prior to SP2 everything was working fine.

Is there a workaround or patch that can be applied to fix this problem?
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

One of the most common causes of this problem would be a misconfigured or
overlooked personal firewall (or Windows Firewall in SP2), but there are other
possibilities too.

If other updates were installed with SP2, there is one possibility.
