Lou

I get an error when trying to browse "My Network Places".
It says, "Mshome is not accessible. You might not have
access to use this network resource. Contact the
administrator of this server to find out if you have
access permissions. The list of servers for this
workgroup is currently not available.

I am trying to set up a home network and am the
administrator. Any ideas on how to resolve this. I can't
browse the network.

Thank you

Greetings Lou,

Make sure the XP's firewall is disabled on local area networks. It is only
intended for direct connections to the Internet. If you install a third
party firewall, make sure it isn't blocking access between the machines.
Ensure NetBIOS over TCP/IP is enabled on all machines.
