I recently installed iTunes for my new iPod that I have not used yet and then
uninstalled the software and noticed some funny activity. The note-icon is
missing from my My Music folder. Also, the note-watermark is appearing in My
Documents only when I click My Documents from the start menu. So I tried to
right-click My Documents from the start menu, and then click on properties,
but I recieve an error message as follows "The properties for this item are
not available". What is the deal with this? Can anyone figure this out or has
had the same problem and found a solution? Thanks.

Go to Start>Search>Files and Folders>type My Music>and click Search button
You'll get several responses including a My Music with a Note icon and
probably
one without. Rightclick the one with the note icon and click properties to
see
where it is not located. Very likely under Documents and Settings.

I did a search on the folder and only one came up which doesn't have the
icon. I searched through Documents and Settings and found the same one
without the icon.

What do you mean you searched through Documents and Settings???
You must search your entire harddrive, probably "C" drive if you are going
to find anything!!!
Start/Search/All files and folders/Look in: Local Harddrive "C".
