my mouse will not work in excel,

A small box has appeared to left of the pointer with a turned down corner
when i open the worksheet after it has been saved, i can move the mouse
around but it will not function
 
I have not heard this specific to 2007, but it has been an issue since
around XL2000, so I've never had anyone come back saying it didn't work. I
would suggest un-installing the mouse and borrowing another and see if that
fixes it

This answer has been given many times over 7 years and it has apparently
been the answer each time, so again, I *really* doubt this is 2007 specific.

You might also try the Logitech site for updated drivers
