My mailbox is under attack.

My mailbox is under attack. My download indicator says I have 256350 not
downloaded but all are from Microsoft and my ISP,a worm worning. What can I
do. I installed a backed up system, the old one had the same problem., but
forgot to format my drive. Could this be part of the problem?
 
You are not alone, there are many people with full mailboxes.. if only
formatting the drive would stop the problem.. the MS e-mails are all bogus
and contain viruses..
