My mail stays in the outbox

I tried to send 3 e-mail messages. They are in the outbox and say that they
have not been sent. I have done everything I know to get them to go but they
are still stuck in the outbox.HELP!
 
You might check under Tools>Options, then the Send Tab. Make sure there is
a checkmark in the "Send Messages Immediately" box. Then when you click
send button they should move out of your Outbox and be Sent. This would be
one of the first things to check, that is if you are not receiving some kind
of error message along with this.

Thanks for your quick response. That has already been done. Any other
ideas. It worked yesterday and I am connected to the Internet.
 
Are they showing in the outbox in italics. If you have clicked on them in
the outbox, they are likley to be showing in regular text. If they are
showing in regular text, they will not send. You will need to open the
email you want to send and press the send button again and then once it is
in italics in the outbox it should go. I didn't realise how difficult this
was to explain until I started typing it. I hope it makes sense.

y dont u try and copy the conntents of the mail and try sending them again
via composing a new mail. may b that could help.

If in case it doesn't ,try re-configuring ur email A/c.

Well I was going to try what you said but I thought I would guess at
reconfiguring my e-mail. It worked. Guess I knew a little more than I
thought. Thanks for all your help. It was greatly appreciated. Cindy
 
I've got the same issue, and have tried the same fixes.

Seems for some reason, half my outgoing e-mails end up in the section of the
outbox in regular type and won't send.

Sometimes if I copy the text in a new message it'll send, sometimes it won't.

This occurs both with original messages and reply messages.
