The one and only time I tried Linux was to install a Red Hat
distribution into a spare partition. Apart from the hd, monitor and
mouse I couldn't find drivers for anything else on the system, even the
modem.
Linux is a nice idea, but for many of us it's not ready for prime time.
Needs to come pre-installed on a machine so buyer knows all the
peripherals will work.
