Hello

I got this weird problem from some days

When I start the computer, my Samsung LCD is turned off, if I turn it
on, it will go to sleep and turn off again.
It only turns on while in Windows login.

SO, I cannot boot from a cd, I cannot access BIOS Setup anymore :(

it'l like it hasn;t got any signal except when in Windows. I unplugged
the tv out cable... I thought it has smth to do with this.

I dont know what to do anymore (

Does your computer have 2 video ports? If it does, try putting the monitor
input on the other port. I may be that BIOS has been changed so that it will
output to the VGA/PCI video and not the AGP (or something like that) until
booted up, then switch to the other port. You have to get to BIOS to change
it so that it is consistent with just 1 port.

If all you have is 1 port, then, for some reason, it is not sensing that a
monitor is out there and enabling it with a video signal. If you have one,
try putting a normal video monitor on it temporarily to see if that is the
case.

If this just started a little while ago, you might also try going back to an
older restore point and trying that.

If the monitor has both analog and digital connectors and the video card has
the same then try switching between the two.

it now works but only in "analog" port :(

what happened to the digital one? I remember clearly that it worked, I
entered bios using digital port.

Do U guys use "digital" port ?

Are U able to boot ?

Jerry a scris:

Could be the 'digital' output of the video card, the cable connecting the
card to the monitor, the monitor's ability to work with digital.

Try a new card and/or monitor.
