my laptop's webcam-capture problem

Hi,
I just purchased his laptop and I'm trying to figure out how to use the
webcam. I have figured out how to capture but once I do it- after it tries to
download my caputured video from the webcam that is included inside this
laptop (HP dv2037 btw) then it pops up an error message saying something to
the effect of unable to download due to some codecs not selected in the
dialog options box?

What in the world is it talking about and how can I fix this? I have no idea
what dialog options box it's talking about.

Have you considered reading the manual that came with the notebook?
