Nadia

Hi,

I think I asked this question before, but I can't remember the answer. Why
is my "inbox" red? And how can I get it back to black?

Thanks

One of your email conversations is marked as Watched and at least one (1)
message is unread.

In that case, I have no idea why your Inbox is red.
( Windows Live Mail allows you to select different colors for each account folder.)
What part of your Inbox is red?

Hi Gary,

I have Windows Mail.

Thanks,

Well, you have me baffled. I've never seen that and have no idea what could cause it.

Hi Gary,

Just the word folder named "Inbox".

Thanks.

Yes!
Just checked it out.
I sent a test mssg out to another account and had it marked as watched
(default colour is red).
When the reply came back in, the folder it was automatically placed in,
turned red.
This was because the message had yet to be read.
Once the message was read, then the folder reverted back to the default
black text.

So, somewhere in your inbox, is (or was) an unread, watched mail.

Hi Browne,

Yes. Could that be the cause?

Thanks,

Nice find!
