My IE is running slow

I am on broadband(British Telecom) yet My Internet explorer is getting
slower & slower...

I regularly delete cookies and temporary internet files.

My PC is a Pentium 4 CPU 2.8GHz with 512MB RAM, 60GB Hard Disk (16GB
Free space)

My Internet Explorer version 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633

My brother uses NTL dial up and his connextions are faster than mine!!

switch to mozilla ( http://mozilla.org ). or better still get rid of
windows and install linux then mozilla.
