My IE is freezing and i have installed all the Spyware ect.

I delete all of my temopary interney files and cookie and recently installed adware 6 but i have had problem since is swithed over to IE with DSL 2 weeks ago . I don't know what to do . I have a all the WIN xp suggested downloads and Nortan virus scan with live updates. I can not figure why my IE keeps freezing . I don't use alot of memory consdering my computer has 512 mb . Please Help.
 
look in task manager and see whats running when it
freezes. norton takes a lot of power, but there must be
something else.
