My 'Home' Button Doesn't Work in Word

Need Help - recently I'm typing in word...I can't delete without the question
"block delete" yes or no"coming up in the lower left hand corner of my screen
now - when I'm typing and I want to change something so I hit "home" to go
to the begginning of the sentence - the "home button doesn't work!! a
rrgggghh!!! what can i do to change this and how did it get like that to
begin with? please advise - extremely greatful for any help in this matter -

Hi CoRo,

In Tools=>Options=>General in Word try turning off both of the 'Wordperfect' (compatibility) options.
