My game has been crashing

i am playing a sims game and everytime i play within five
minutes my game goes black and spits me out to my desk
top. i have done all the troubleshooting that windows has
suggested. I also have emailed and pleaded with EA games
support center and they won't reply. I don't know what to
do this computer is five months old and it seems to be a
huge pain. Please help
 
Upgrade your DirectX. Upgrade your video/sound drivers. Upgrade the
motherboard chipset drivers. Apply anny/all patches for The Sims.
