My favorites disappeared

Help! Yesterday when clicked "My favorites", I found that it is empty inside
the pull-down menu! I've checked the "Documents and Settings->u->My
favoirtes" folder, the URL's are still there normally.
Could you solve this problem? Thank you.
 
Perhaps the Registry entry is wrong?

You can change the value of Favorites in the Registry in these
two keys: (ignore the second if the value is not there)

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell
Folders

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User
Shell Folders
