My excel 2007 is so slow

Is there any solutions on speeding up excel 2007. I really like some of the
features and I am learning what all excel 2007 can do, but it gets
frustrating when trying to just imput data.

Whilst Xl2007 is definitely slower than earlier versions when calculating,
it should not be slower on pure data entry.
Do you have lost of event code running on your input sheet?
Do you have a lot of volatile formulae on your input sheet?

Perhaps turning off Calculation mode whilst entering data, then turning it
back on after you finish will help.
Formula tab>Calculation>dropdown on Calculation Options>set to Manual
