Why are my documents stored in 3 different document folders?

1) Desktop\My Documents

2) My Computer\Administrator's Documents

3) My Computer\C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\My
Documents
 
I don't know why it in:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\

But, My Documents on your Desktop and the My Documents in My Computer are
just shortcuts to the My Documents in:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\

Microsoft thought you could find the folder easier by placing shortcuts all
over the compuuter (there's even a shortcut in your start menu, btw)...
