I have strange situation going on. When displaying the My Documents folder
instead of seeing the icons and the names of the files or folders underneath
the icons, all I see is the icons. The names are there because if I click
on the files or folders and it is highlighted the name appears but only when
being clicked to highlight. I have checked and reset the appearances and
folder views back to defaults and still have the problem. If I double click
on a folder underneath My Documents and that folder has files or folders I
can see the names. This problem does not happen in any other folder just
the "top" level of the My Documents folder. Has this happened to anyone and
if so how can I fix it?
