my documents on C:\ ????

Hello
basic routine is not have "any" Datas on the same Partition or dirve as the
programms.
This is common knowledge i guess

But ....MS is not doing anything to help on this routine

So how can i set up the folder with all subfolders on i.e. D:\

Any ideas (with Tweak and registrymanipulation i know) but something
from the big Dominator available who works ?

Simple: Right-click "My Documents" on the desktop, then change
its properties so that it points at your folder on drive D:. Now
what was this about Microsoft not making it easy for you?

Download and install TweakUI, one of the MS powertoys, from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

Run it and expand the My Computer section | Special Folders. From there
you can redirect My Documents and other special folders.
