My Documents Folder

Is there anyway to delete this folder? I have tried moving it like suggested
but sub-folders still keep appearing in it. I use my own documents folder I
set up in the "C" drive and this one is annoying. It is constantly adding
"My Pictures, My Videos, My Music, etc folders - how can you stop this thing?

Hi,

It can be hidden from within Display Properties - Desktop tab -
Customize Desktop - General Tab, uncheck My Documents under
Desktop icons.

You can change the 'logical references' concerned so they point to
folders of your own choice, using TweakUI - one of the XP Powertoys
from (if you have installed XP SP1)

Its My Computer, Special folders, Select and 'Change Location'. Note
that the folder you are going to point one to must already exist, and
different pointers may not refer (safely) to the same actual folder
