No, no, no. She doesn't need to change any drivers. She probably has an
Nvidia card, which has the option to change the screen orientation.
Kathy, do to the Display applet in Control panel and look for the
Adapter settings (you may need to click an Advanced button on the
settings tab) - or you may have a separate Nvidia Control Panel applet.
You are looking for "rotation" settings and you can change the way the
screen is displayed there.
Some video cards (nVidia notably) have a facility to rotate the image
on the screen, for the benefit of monitors that rotate to portrait mode.
Go to Control Panel - Display - Settings, click Advanced and explore for
a likely page
