My disk drive wont work

My disk drive will not read my disks. When I try to burn a cd of play a game
it says that there is not dick in the drive when there is. How do I fix it I
dont know what is wrong with it.
 
How did your insert your "dick" in? Perhaps your seaman must have ruined your drive.

I use non Microsoft products wherever possible which requires no activation.

I use Netscape 7.2 as my default browser which has everything I need for my work.

I believe in good Financial Management!! I do not believe in enriching rich jerks!
 
Open the drive.
Put a CD in it.
Lean close to the drive a seen if you can hear it spin up to speed.
If it doesn't, the drive motor is dead.
