My Database in Access has just disappeared-how can I get it back?

Our Corporate Database (all our contacts) has disappeared.
We back up by tape daily.
Do I have to get it restored via tape, or is there another way?
Any advice or help will be most greatfully received!!
 
If the database file has disappeared (been deleted) then the only way to
restore is to use a backup.
